On Friday 11 March 2011, the Department of Archaeology welcomed a group of officers from the Nottinghamshire CSI for a session on forensics. Three undergraduate Archaeology students, Martina Gagin, Liz Farebrother and Chelsea Wright (all of whom wish to join the force), spent the morning teaching the group about methods of identifying and analysing human remains.
