Q-uite an Experience

Students at Brandenburg gate

From September 15-19, the QKolleg Fellows met in Berlin for first workshop of the programme.

Let by QKolleg facilitator Arne Reinhardt, they spent the days analysing Greek and Roman artefacts on display on Berlin's Museum Island. The Pergamon Altar was at the centre of the discussions, and the Fellows explored it whilst comparing their different approaches towards examining ancient visual culture. Discussions continued until late into the night, and whilst sampling Berlin's various other cultural delights.
