Classics students to attend the British School at Rome

Three MA students from the Department of Classics, Thea Lawrence, Mollie Millward-Nicholls and Katherine Morrison, have been successful in their applications to study on the eight-week City of Rome Postgraduate Course at the British School at Rome in April-May 2015.

This is an intensive residential course for postgraduates at selected British partner universities which unlocks Rome for students at Masters or early Doctoral level studying classical archaeology, art history, ancient history (both Greek and Roman) and the transformation of antiquity in the Middle Ages and the modern period.

Despite fierce competition for places on this prestigious course, this is the second year that our students have had 100% success in accepted applications.
