Mark Bradley: live on colour!

Why did Homer call the sea 'wine-faced'? Dr Mark Bradley has been interviewed by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on the subject of ancient colour. Dr Bradley is already the author of a monograph Colour and Meaning in Ancient Rome, and the interview coincides with the publication of the first volume of a series The Senses in Antiquity, of which he is series editor.
