Professor Doug Lee at the conference of the North American Patristics Society

In May, Professor Doug Lee gave an invited paper at the annual meeting of the North American Patristics Society, which took place in Chicago. The NAPS is a distinguished learned society for patristics, i.e. the study of the early Christian writers known as the ‘Church fathers’. Professor Lee’s paper formed part of a panel on ‘War, Narrative, and Religion’ and was entitled ‘Human and Divine Agency in War in the Chronicle of Pseudo-Joshua the Stylite’.
