Classics student wins Robert Markus Prize for best MA dissertation

We are delighted to announce that Thea Lawrence of the Department of Classics has been awarded the Robert Markus Prize for the 2014-15 academic year, for her dissertation Smell and the Female Body in Pre-Christian Rome

The prize is given each academic year for the best MA dissertation in the Humanities based in the period of the late Professor Robert Markus’s main interest, prior to c.1000 AD.
