Registration opens for Fate, Luck and Fortune workshop 1

‘Fate Luck and Fortune: Narratives of Environmental Risk’

This AHRC-funded network explores the nature and role of the concepts of fate, luck and fortune in different types of narratives concerned with environmental risk. We will be holding three workshops looking at historical narratives (31 March), political narratives (7 July), and popular narratives (8 September).

Please see our website for more details about the project speakers. Click here to find out more about workshop one.

Everyone is welcome to the first of our workshops on historical narratives: Friday 31 March, 10am-5.30pm in The Hemsley, Room B7, University Park, Nottingham University.

Register here or contact Esther or Georgina for more information.

Esther Eidinow (Classics, Nottingham) and Georgina Endfield (History, Liverpool).
