Joglaresa represents rebellion in medieval music in a programme that challenges the supreme authority of kings, criticises the Roman Curia, and which highlights the lives, loves, imprisonment and taxation of ordinary folk (...or barons...) at the time of the Great Charter. Joined by storyteller Nick Hennessey, tales of Robin Hood, King John, outlaws, rebels, social justice and injustice, are interwoven with Joglaresa's exuberant ensemble of harp, fidel, percussion, bagpipes and voices
