The Lendvai String Trio – Dutch violinist Nadia Wijzenbee, Swiss violist Ylvali Zilliacus and British cellist Marie Macleod – has a busy schedule of concerts at major venues and festivals throughout Europe.
The Trio is currently recording all 16 of the unpublished string trios by the romantic Dutch composer Julius Röntgen, and their Lakeside debut includes his charming first trio. Their recording of the complete Beethoven string trios received international acclaim and was BBC Music Magazine’s Chamber Choice in June 2013.
