Opera North’s concert staging of Wagner’s epic Ring cycle has won universal critical acclaim. To accompany the performance of the complete cycle at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall (6 -11 June), Opera North and The University of Nottingham present a unique exploration of Wagner’s monumental - and controversial - achievement in the company of leading academics as well as musicians from Opera North, who will provide live musical illustrations.
