Accolade for the Djanogly Recital Hall

The Djanogly Recital Hall in the Department of Music has been recognised as one of the county’s top-ten venues for chamber music.

An article in August’s Classical Music Magazine notes that the 200-seat Djanogly Recital Hall ‘beats most campus and music college venues in terms of its acoustics and public facilities.’ The article praises ‘the tonal warmth and focus’ of the venue, as well as the enthusiasm of the Djanogly’s loyal audience.

The Djanogly Recital Hall hosts an outstanding season of professional concerts every year, and is also fully used by students in the Department of Music for their regular lunchtime concerts, rehearsals and end-of-semester recital examinations.
