To mark Benjamin Britten’s centenary, the University of Nottingham will be hosting a conference on the theme of ‘Britten on Stage and Screen’ between 5 and 7 July 2013.
The Programme Committee (Mervyn Cooke, Philip Rupprecht and Lucy Walker) invites proposals for 25-minute papers on any topic relating to Britten’s output for stage and screen genres. We welcome proposals for joint or paired papers, themed sessions (comprising 3 or 4 papers), and poster presentations, and are also keen to receive proposals from both performers and scholars.
Proposals – which should consist of a title and an abstract of c. 200 words, together with the proposer’s name, institutional affiliation (if any) and email address – should be sent to mervyn.cooke@nottingham.ac.uk by no later than 1 October 2012.
