A new French translation of the expanded second edition of Mervyn Cooke’s The Chronicle of Jazz (Thames & Hudson/Oxford University Press USA) has just been published by Editions Gründ in Paris under the title L’Histoire du jazz. This popular book has also been translated into German and will soon be out in a Czech translation.
