Nottingham's Department of Music ranked no. 4 in the UK

Nottingham has excellent music facilities and performance opportunities.

The Guardian University Guide 2015 has ranked Nottingham’s Department of Music as the fourth-best in the country. This places Nottingham above Oxford and Cambridge as one of the leading places to study Music in the UK. View the full league table here.

This league table success comes on the back of the department’s recent top-10 rankings in The Times Good University Guide 2014 and the Complete University Guide 2015.

The University of Nottingham has also scored very highly in other recent league tables: 

  • Nottingham graduates are the most sought-after by leading employers, according to the influential 2014 High Flyers survey.
  • The Times Higher Education (THE) Student Experience Survey placed the University of Nottingham in the top 10 for student experience.
  • The University of Nottingham  has recently been judged to have the greenest campus in the world!
