Nick Baragwanath will be presenting the First Night of the Proms this year to an audience of 269 million people in more than 180 countries, on BBC World Service. The concert will be broadcast live from the Albert Hall at 7.30pm on 14 July and will include Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto, John Adam’s minimalist masterpiece Harmonium, and a new work by young British composer Tom Coult.
