We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead and manage the University’s well established and highly successful Research Support, Business Engagement, Enterprise and Graduate Services Function including oversight of the University’s Innovation Park. The Director of Research & Innovation will primarily support the PVC Research & Knowledge Exchange in the delivery of our ambitious research and knowledge exchange strategies. They will also support the PVC Education & Student Experience in the provision of alternative programmes for example online and higher apprenticeships and the PVC Global Engagement in ensuring the integration of research and knowledge exchange activity within the University’s wider global engagement strategy.
The Director will have the opportunity to work across the institution with our world-leading academics and first class professional services staff as well with external partners, fostering extensive collaborative working and positive relationships.
