The Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Provost of University of Nottingham Ningbo (UNNC) Professor Nick Miles began his second term in 2015 and will complete his term at the end of 2023. The University of Nottingham seeks to appoint a strategic and enterprising leader to build on UNNC’s success.

The role of Provost is the key leadership role for the University of Nottingham Ningbo and is also a member of the Executive Board of the wider University of Nottingham. The role reports to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shearer West, and the University of Nottingham Ningbo Board which includes representation of our partners.

The next Provost will have an outstanding personal record of leadership achievement in a relevant context. With experience in academic management, in driving quality, performance and growth, the successful candidate will be able to create a distinctive vision, embrace opportunities and lead change.
