International Students
Each year the School of Law welcomes students from around the world, providing an outstanding range of opportunities and experiences.
Students enjoy everything which the university has to offer as well as the dynamic city of Nottingham.
Overseas practice
Law graduates from the University of Nottingham may be eligible to practise overseas including in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Singapore, where admission to the Bar (or equivalent) can be attained subject to meeting the jurisdictions' conditions.
With a community of more than 40,000 students from over 150 countries, the University of Nottingham is a truly global university.
Support
The university offers an excellent support structure for international students, offering advice and support on a wide range of issues, including scholarships, funding, visas, accommodation, travel and health matters.
Welcome programme
The university runs a Welcome programme prior to the start of the term in September each year. This gives international students a chance to meet fellow students and to settle in Nottingham prior to the start of their studies.
Meet our staff
We have agents in many countries and representatives regularly visit higher education fairs and exhibitions all over the world. This offers an opportunity for potential students to meet staff from the university and to find out more about study opportunities.
