Work will be taking place in Hallward Library from Monday 24 June to 23 August to install new, smaller, more efficient boilers throughout the building.
This work will need to take place at each water installation – in our toilet and kitchen facilities – and will result in their closure whilst work takes place. It will be phased so that only one set of facilities are unavailable at any one time and staff and visitors will be able to use facilities on alternative floors.
During this time there will be some noise disruption, which we will aim to keep to a minimum. We apologise for any inconvenience these works create, all the work being undertaken is important to ensure the future warmth and resilience of the building and is part of our wider strategic plan to decarbonise our estate.
