Currently, I teach on both Medical (A100 BMedSci) and Life Science undergraduate degrees. With teaching focussed on the first years of a student's degree, I contribute to a range of courses including 'The Scientific Basis of Medicine', 'Structure & Function of Genes' (LIFE2076), 'Structure & Function of Proteins' (LIFE2077), and 'Genes, Molecules & Cells' (LIFE1029) to name but a few. In these, I cover a range of topics ranging from molecular biology to human metabolism. Apart from contributing to courses, I also convene several: 'Core Skills in Biochemistry/ Core Skills in Biochemistry in Genetics' (LIFE1039/1042) as well as co-convene 'Higher Skills in Biochemistry' (LIFE2082). Both courses introduce the students to the fundamentals of writing, oral presentations, and data analysis.
