Christina Brady receives Lord Dearing Award

Huge congratulations to Christina Brady from the School of Mathematical Sciences who has been recognised in this year’s Lord Dearing Awards.

The scheme was launched in 1999, by Ronald Dearing, the fifth Chancellor of the University of Nottingham. Since its launch it has seen over 100 staff awarded for high quality teaching, supporting an excellent learning environment for our students.

Christina won an individual award thanks to her excellent support provided to students. Speaking on behalf of mathematical sciences, Head of School Paul Houston commented 'this is really a fantastic achievement; her work as Student Engagement Officer has been really fundamental this year more than ever, so I’m so pleased that she has been recognised in this way'.

Well done Christina!
