We are pleased to announce that Dr Gregor Tanner, Dr Stephen Creagh, Dr Gabriele Gradoni and Prof Dave Thomas (George Green Institute, Engineering) have secured a substantial grant from the European Commission's Horizon 2020: Future and emerging technologies.
This 3 year project, titled "Noisy Electromagnetic Fields - A Technological Platform for Chip-to-Chip Communication in the 21st Century - NEMF21", will focus on providing design tools for wireless Chip-to-Chip (C2C) communication. This grant will enable the interdisciplinary team to tackle the scientific challenges to open new pathways for chip design. They aim to overcome the information bottleneck due to wired connections and move into a new era of chip architectures.
Well done Gregor, Stephen, Gabriele and Dave!
