Two Mathematical Sciences graduates have medal success at the London 2012 games

Mathematical Physics graduate David Florence competed in the canoe slalom double event with Richard Hounslow and took a silver. He had not competed at the olympics before in the double canoe slalom and it was a great achievement. David also competed at the Beijing Olmpics in 2008 and won silver in the single canoe slalom.

Anne Panter, who studied Mathematics and Economics is a member of the women's british hockey team that took a bronze, which again is an amazing achievement. The womens hockey team took part in group A and played Japan, Korea, Belgium and China before securing a place in the semi-finals and winning bronze.

The school is very proud of their fantastic achievements - Well Done!!
