PhD student wins poster prize

Current PhD student, Wilhelm Braun received the best poster prize at the 1st International Conference on Mathematical Neuroscience, in Antibes, France from 8-10 June 2015 for his work with Dr Rüdiger Thul and Dr Paul Matthews on “First passage times in integrate–and–fire neurons with stochastic thresholds”.

Wilhelm won a signed certificate from the conference organisers, a Kindle, two books donated by Springer, a further 200 euros to spend on books from their catalogue and an Open Access fee waiver for the Journal of Mathematical Neuroscience.
