Anne McLaren Fellowships
The Anne McLaren Fellowships are aimed at outstanding female scholars in science, technology, engineering and/or medicine at the early stage of their academic careers. The Fellowships enable female researchers in STEM subjects – often under-represented in these areas - to establish independent research careers.
Fellowships normally commence in October 2015, but there is individual flexibility around this date.
Fellowships include:
- 3 years’ salary costs
- Up to £25,000 per annum research expenses
- The linking of the fellowship to an academic appointment subject to performance
- Up to £5000 per annum taxable child care costs
Fellows may be recruited to any School in the University's Faculties of Science, Engineering and Medicine and Health Sciences. In addition, appointments may also be made to parts of the School of Geography in the Faculty of Social Sciences.
