School Success at Staff Oscars 2015! The results are in...

The University Staff Oscars are running for the fourth time this academic year following three very successful previous events. With a staggering 500 nominations made last year, University of Nottingham students showcased the amazing work over 14 nominations categories from best personal tutor through to best support staff member and best use of technology to enhance learning.

The results for this year's Staff Oscars are now in. We are pleased to announce that three Mathematical Sciences Staff have been successful:

  • Gerardo Adesso, Associate Professor - Winner "Best Research Supervisor"
  • Andrea Blackbourn, School Manager -  Runner Up "Best Support Staff (School/Department)"
  • Stephen Cox, Associate Professor and Reader - Runner Up "Best All-Rounder"
The winners are invited to attend a black tie awards evening on 28 April 2015 held in the Senate Chamber, Trent Building.
