Biography

Dr. Fenglong You received his bachelor's degree from the Sun Yat-sen University, China, in 2010 and master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA, in 2012.

After that he went for his doctoral studies at the Ohio State University working with Prof. Hsian-Hua Tseng on Gromov--Witten theory and mirror symmetry. Dr. You completed his Ph.D degree in 2017.

After the completion of his Ph.D, he moved to the University of Alberta to work with Prof. Vincent Bouchard, Charles Doran and David Favero as a postdoctoral fellow. Dr. You was also a postdoctoral fellow for the thematic program on Homological Algebra of Mirror Symmetry at the Fields Institute in Toronto in 2019.

In 2021, Dr. You moved to Europe as a Research associate at the Imperial College London working with Prof. Richard Thomas, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo working with Prof. Jørgen Vold Rennemo and then a Marie-Curie Fellow at ETH-Zurich. working with Prof. Rahul Pandharipande funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Marie Curie Fellowship. In September 2024, Dr. You started his current post at the University of Nottingham.
