Current Research

My current research is in the application of computational and applied mathematics to understand the complex haemodynamic flow in the placenta. In particular, I am applying homogenisation and moving boundary methods with discontinuous Galerkin numerical methods to gain insight into the role that placental contractions play in predicting the risk of stillbirth in pregnant women.
