Nkemji Abiakam is an accomplished Clinical Trial Manager with a Master's degree from the University of London and a PhD in Health Science from the University of Southampton. He has extensive experience managing multi-centre clinical trials, spanning investigational medicinal products (IMP) and medical devices, with a particular focus on healthcare innovations.

Nkemji is passionate about driving cutting-edge trials that enhance patient quality of life, reduce healthcare burdens, and support the less privileged. He thrives in environments where research translates into tangible patient benefits, ensuring that groundbreaking treatments and devices are both accessible and effective.

His career encompasses both academic and industry-led research, including a widely cited national survey on PPE-related skin reactions in healthcare professionals during COVID-19. As a result of his various roles leading various trials, he has developed expertise in early-stage clinical development, regulatory strategy, and overcoming logistical challenges unique to emerging medical technologies.

With a strong commitment to ethical, impactful research, Nkemji finds fulfilment in working at the intersection of science and patient care.
