Dr Glyn Lawson is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham. He is a member of the Human Factors Research Group (HFRG) and has been the Principal Investigator on projects worth over £2m, for which he has researched virtual reality technologies for applications such as health and safety training and vehicle design. Dr Lawson is a Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist (Fellow) of the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) and sits on the editorial board of Applied Ergonomics.
