The use of the Internet in healthcare, particularly how patients engage with social media and the Internet whilst managing long term conditions. Specifically, how online support communities and peer support online (e.g. facebook groups, discussion forums) may be helpful or not and how does this affect the doctor-patient relationship (e.g. increasingly knowledgeable patients).
