Expertise summary

I work on decolonial politics and utopias - how we envision futures that are equitable based on our experiences of the past. I give specific focus to queer identities, religious and spiritual minorities, literature and language, and cultural politics.

I am supporting the work of Queer Britain, the banning conversion therapy alliance, Rainbow Migration, and several NHS trusts in my role at LGBT Foundation.

Research group: Asia Research Institute.

University links: I am a co-director of the London Science Fiction Research Community at Birkbeck and Royal Holloway, and I am a member of the inter-university Beyond Gender research collective. I am also working with the Centre for Queer History Researchers at Goldsmiths, University of London on ongoing projects in my professional role at LGBT Foundation.
