Neil is a cognitive neuroscientist, and has worked in the UK, the US and Germany prior to Malaysia. He is interested in the use of vision and how we use it in everyday life. His interests include face recognition, attention, stress and anxiety, AI, machine learning and psychology. He is also very interested in sensory devices to assist the blind.

University links: Neil has collaborated with Universities in the UK, the US and Europe. He still collaborates with international research partners. He would like to build on this and collaborate with researchers in China and South East Asia.

Consultancy and Research: Dr Mennie is happy to explore opportunities to undertake consultancy and research work with external organisations.
Neil publishes his work on human and animal psychology internationally. He is always interested in collaborating on diverse projects, especially those exploring using eye movements and the use of gaze.
Neil's work has appearing in many news, TV and radio sites over the years. Neil was a speaker at TEDx Youth KL as well.
