Many years in practice as a social worker in child protection and now and research, teaching and practice development in safeguarding and child protection. Now working as Safeguarding Disabled Children Manager at the Ann Craft Trust and Co-Chair the National Working Group on Safeguarding Disabled Children.
Particular interests in child protection and safeguarding generally and specifically - Safeguarding Disabled children - Sexual Exploitation - Domestic abuse and disabled young people - Rights, choice, voice of disabled children and young people; relationship and communication-based practice -Challenges and benefits of multi-agency practice and working in partnership with families.

I have done TV and radio interviews for the Ann Craft Trust on a number of occasions and topics.
