Infectious diseases, especially those transmitted between non-human animals and humans (zoonoses), and infections in wildlife. Current projects include badgers and TB, antibiotic resistance in wildlife, and zoonoses from rodents.
Professor Bennett has contributed to TV, radio and newspaper interviews, as well as producing various blogs and 'thought pieces'. He also has experience of working with a TV production company.
