Nottingham vet students assist army in declaring military equine population as Strangles-free

Vet students from The University of Nottingham have helped in a major project to screen The Queen's most iconic military ceremonial horses for a potentially life-threatening disease called Strangles. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery have now been declared Strangles-free.
