Mobile technology on Nottingham hospital wards boosts staff time with patients

Using mobile phones and tablets to log patient observation data in place of traditional paper notes frees up significantly more time for hospital ward doctors and nurses to give vital care. This is according to University of Nottingham researchers, evaluating the use of a pioneering electronic observations package (eObs) by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).
