Launched at the University of Nottingham in response to the growing local, national and international recognition of the existing good practice, scholarship and research activity in education and health informatics present within the University's School of Nursing, Midwifery & Physiotherapy, this group aims to build research evidence in the delivery of nurse education and the use of technology in teaching, learning and practice.

With the contributions generated from these activities the Eduserv Foundation funds initiatives, such as LOLA, which support the effective application of IT in education.
RLO-CETL

The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) in Reusable Learning Objects is being funded by HEFCE to develop a range of multimedia learning objects that can be stored in repositories, accessed over the Web, and integrated into course delivery. London Metropolitan University is the lead site, in partnership with the Universities of Cambridge and Nottingham.
