We're pleased to welcome a new member of staff who's joined the e-learning team in the School in recent months:
Mike Taylor joined us as a Media Developer at the start of August 2006, with a brief to develop Reusable Learning Objects (RLOs) for the CETL for RLOs of which the School is one of three partners (see news item 1/2/05). Mike has a number of years of multi-media development experience and joins us from the University of Derby’s Centre for Education and Design Materials where he has been working on a range of multi-media learning objects. His areas of expertise include video manipulation and Flash. Initially Mike will be working with the pharmacology and clinical skills miniproject teams.
