Welcome to the SHOULD project:
Supporting health occupations’ understanding of learning/intellectual disabilitiesThis project aims to develop a series of reusable learning objects to support and challenge students from a range of health care occupations about their professional interactions with individuals with learning disabilities.
The materials themselves will be devised and designed by students studying for a qualification in learning disabilities nursing, in order to build on their knowledge and expertise in this area, and their appreciation of the factors that make e-learning materials effective for their peer group.
The project began with a storyboard creation workshop on 3 April 2008, run in conjunction with the Positive Choices Conference. From this workshop 5 storyboard outlines are being taken forward.
