This six-year course offers the chance for students to study pharmacy at a leading UK university while earning two degrees.
The programme is jointly delivered by the University of Nottingham (UoN) and Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) Thailand.
The first three years of the programme are taught at Nottingham. Students follow an integrated curriculum alongside students studying our MPharm degree. Upon completion they will gain a BSc International Pharmacy Practice degree. They then complete their studies at SWU to achieve a PharmD degree.
The programme is delivered both in the UK and Thailand, in collaboration with a range of partners that include both public and private hospitals, community pharmacies, drug companies, Ministry of Public Health and other healthcare settings
Admission is only through SWU.
This five-year course, approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, aims to advance international pharmaceutical education and cultivate highly qualified pharmaceutical talent, particularly for the hospital sector in China.
The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham (UoN) and the College of Chinese Material Medica at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TUTCM) jointly deliver the course, in which all pharmacy teaching and assessment is in English.
Students will complete a BSc International Pharmacy, while in the UK in years three and four. During this time, and the previous year in TUTCM, students will gain a western perspective on medicine and drugs, clinical and commercial knowledge and patient safety from Nottingham experts. At the end of the five-year programme, students will also receive a Bachelor of Science from TUTCM.
