Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity 2025

This popular, annual festival returns to Nottingham this February half-term for its tenth anniversary!

Celebrating science, technology, engineering and maths with interactive, free and fun events across Nottinghamshire, the festival showcases an exciting world of science and curiosity that’s all around us every day.

This event invites the people of Nottinghamshire to share not only what they know, but also what they would like to know! It’s about celebrating curiosity, asking questions and taking a leading role in finding out the answers.

Scientists from the University of Nottingham will be helping festival goers to explore the world of science through hands-on experiments and engaging activities.

Get involved!

As well a programme of school events during the festival, University of Nottingham researchers are running a wide range of events across the city and surrounding areas.
