Award Categories
To fully reflect the breadth and depth of activities that are supported by our Professional Services teams, we have decided to maintain the eight nomination categories identified for the 2022 awards, that explicitly align to university goals and values. Once again, all nominations should be team based to reflect the extraordinary collective efforts of Professional Services throughout the course of the last year.
Any current member of Professional Services staff at any of the university’s campuses in China, Malaysia or the UK may be nominated for a Professional Services award in the categories set out below. Any member of the university’s staff or student community can nominate a team and Professional Services staff can also self-nominate teams for any of the categories. We ask that all nominations are appropriately tailored to the category and that the same wording is used for no more than two nomination categories.
As a guide, we have provided a simple indication of the criteria the judges will be using to assess nominations and also referred to example nominations from last year’s awards.
See last year's event Sway here.
Nominations will be open between 26 June – 23 July 2023 and there will be the choice of either submitting nominations digitally via the event website, using a printed nomination form or by submitting a video/audio clip. Physical forms will be distributed to key staff and student networks by the end of June.
To nominate in any category – click here to go through to the nomination form - deadline 5pm, 23 July 2023.
