PhD Candidate

Email: lgxgv@nottingham.ac.uk

Annegreet is a PhD candidate with the Palaeobenchmarking Resilient Agricultural Systems project. Her research aims to provide new insights into how people have modified ecosystems through agricultural practice by combining trait-based ecology and palaeoecology.

Both functional ecology and paleoecology are important branches of ecology that contribute in setting realistic targets for ecosystem management. The project will develop a framework for the assessment of functional diversity change over time and then apply this to published palaeoecological studies.

Annegreet holds a BA (Hons) in Biology and an MSc in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
