Jordan Robson
Postdoctoral Researcher
Email: jordan.robson@nottingham.ac.uk
Jordan is a postdoctoral researcher on the Palaeobenchmarking Resilient Agricultural Systems project. Continuing John Ferguson’s work, her research aims to identify and characterise genes contributing to heat tolerance in rice at a whole plant level using Genome Wide Association Studies (GWAS) of photosynthetic traits and reverse genetics approaches.
Before joining the PaleoRAS team, Jordan’s PhD research focussed on male reproductive development in response to abiotic stress in Arabidopsis thaliana. In this, she identified novel protein interactions that are crucial to maintaining male fertility in adverse conditions.
