High throughput phenotyping

We are investing in equipment to help scientists categorise plant traits quickly and efficiently. This allows scientists to perform high throughput phenotyping on biomaterials at key physical scales (i.e.: molecular, anatomical, and organ).

New equipment includes:

  • ICP-MS with single cell introduction system
  • Optima XPN 80 K Floor Standing 1 Ultracentrifuge
  • Mercury Analyser (Young)
  • Laser Microdissection System
  • LAT contribution
  • Digital camera equipment for phenotyping, Grippers (x2 + fittings), Turntable
