Fully-integrated generation systems
How can onboard power generation drive the uptake of electric vehicles?
The challenge
Electric vehicles today have significant limitations, the main one being their inability to cover long distances without the need to recharge or switch to conventional fuel systems – think hybrid cars.
We know that the uptake of future electrified propulsion systems will rely heavily on the generation, storage, transmission and conversion of power onboard.
Our response
We have a number of projects to develop advanced integrated onboard power generation plants to meet the needs of future propulsion platforms.
