Rights Lab Research Fellow in Prevention of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

Dr. Habiba Aminu is a Research Fellow in the School of Health Sciences and part of the Rights Lab’s Health Communities Programme, investigating maternal needs in survivors and those at risk of modern slavery. She is passionate about prevention, and her work highlights pathways to Modern Slavery Prevention in the UK. She is also interested in upstream prevention, especially among women and girls, and is exploring a project to understand the role of Nigeria’s health system in supporting prevention.
