Dr Lisa Carroll focuses across the Rights Lab on strategy, innovation and impact, including leading the development of strategic commercial partnerships and solutions. Her work includes Rights Lab strategy and planning, the development of business policy and practice in the area of modern slavery, and strategic Rights Lab projects with commercial partners. She has over 20 years' experience working for FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 organisations in Lean, Strategy, Innovation and Commercial (up to global VP level) and currently also works as the University of Nottingham Commercial Director. Since 2019 she has led the University's Modern Slavery Working Group, to deliver the campus response to the requirements of the UK Modern Slavery Act. This includes the development of the University's Slavery-Free Campus 'blueprint' and process.
