Vikki Barrett is a senior clinical midwife with extensive experience and expertise working clinically at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She is also an early career Clinical Academic under the supervision of Professor Helen Spiby of the University Of Nottingham School of Health Sciences. Vikki is working to develop clinical academic networks and progress to doctoral research training focusing on the priority area of evidence-based and culturally sensitive trauma-informed care. Her experience of providing intrapartum care to vulnerable groups enables valuable contributions to the Rights Lab's Health and Communities programme where she focuses on multidisciplinary, cross-sectoral research, impact and informing policy.
